David Bowie

Στις 21 Μάη 1983 φτάνει στο Νο 1 του καταλόγου των U. K. chart singles το τραγούδι Let's Dance του David Bowie. Είναι μια σύνθεση του λονδρέζου μουσικού που κυκλοφόρησε ως single στις 17 Μαρτίου της ίδιας χρονιάς. Αποτελεί μια από τις μεγαλύτερες εμπορικές επιτυχίες στην καριέρα του και η μουσική του χαρακτηρίζει την pop στροφή που επιχείρησε ο χαμαιλέων Bowie κατά τη διάρκεια της δεκαετίας του 1980. Στη δεύτερη πλευρά του single υπάρχει το τραγούδι Cat People (Putting Out Fire) που έντυσε μουσικά την ταινία Cat People του Paul Schrader και τις κιθάρες παίζει ο Stevie Ray Vaughan.
